Since 1986, LAF has awarded nearly $850,000 in scholarships and fellowships to over 450 students. These awards support new generations of landscape architects by recognizing leadership, rewarding superior student performance, encouraging diversity, supporting original research, and assisting students with unmet financial need.

Olmsted Scholars Program
The Olmsted Scholars Program honors one exceptional student leader from each university. The $25,000 national prize is the premier award for landscape architecture students.

Leadership in Landscape Scholarships
LAF’s Leadership in Landscape Scholarship Program supports future landscape leaders through named scholarships with endowed awards ranging from $2,000-$5,000.

Leadership in Landscape Fellowships
LAF Leadership in Landscape Fellowships recognize and support original research related to landscape architecture.
